How to Pack a Shoebox For Operation Christmas Child

1. Find a Shoebox

Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately.

2. Girl or Boy?

Decide whether you will pack a box for a girl or a boy, and the age category: 2–4, 5–9, or 10–14.

3. Fill with Gifts

Select a medium to large “wow” item such as a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal, then fill with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies.

4. Pray

Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift. You can also include a personal note and photo.

5. Print or Follow Your Box Labels

Donate $9 to cover shipping inside of the box (Make Checks to “Samaritan’s Purse” and do not seal the box).

OR

Donate $9i online and receive a label to Follow Your Boxi and discover the destination of your shoebox gift.

6. Drop-off at Redbud By November 15th

Optional: Pack a Box Online for $25

All we ask if you pack a box online is to let the office know so we can have a count of the boxes that Redbud participated with this year!

SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES HAVE STARTED!

Redbud Family! We just want to let you know that we are staying aware of all the recent concerns regarding (COVID – 19). This is a fluid situation, and changes are happening with every new report that is received and every public address by city officials. We ask for your patience and prayers. It is clear to our leadership that precautions need to be put in place and communicated.

Currently the Office is open Monday – Thursday, 9:30 AM – 4 PM.

Sunday Morning Worship is opened. The rules for the gathering is at the link here: https://redbudbaptist.org/2020/05/worship-returning-this-sunday-morning/

ALL CHILDREN, YOUTH and SERVICES AT THE CHURCH BUILDING ARE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE UNLESS YOU ARE CONTACTED BY A LEADER FOR NECESSARY MEETINGS.

In opening back up, we put our trust in the Lord. While we are uncertain what the next few weeks will hold, we are certain that God is always at work, and that His Kingdom will never fall.

Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
