Thrive is Red
bud Baptist Church’s new young adult and college ministry. The main focus of Thrive Ministries will be discipleship and small groups with a special emphasis on knowing God and learning how to do your best for Him. There are a few rules you’ll need to know:
1. You’re never, ever too old to be a young adult. Youth is a condition of your heart.
2. Thrive will be an ego-free environment. Check yourself and your agendas at the door.
3. You can say whatever is on your heart as long as you’re not intentionally hurting someone in the process. This will be a safe place where you can come and leave your burdens, express your doubts or talk through developing your faith.
4. Be committed. When you’re spending time with God, make sure it’s God’s time. See rule #2 for clarification.
5. To quote Pastor Travis Zachary from the Refuge, love well. We’ll try our best to help you figure out how.
